POLARIZED SUNGLASSES AT THE BEST PRICE
Polarized glasses contain a filter that prevents certain reflections and improves visual comfort. Most of the sunglasses that you will find in our online optics have the option of buying it polarized or non-polarized.
What are polarized sunglasses?
Polarized lenses are sunglasses that have a coating of diagonal lines, which manage to eliminate the flashes that cause eye fatigue and prevent quality vision allowing vision without reflections and with natural color and contrast. The light sends information in all directions and it is the horizontal rays that create the most reflection when they bounce off surfaces such as the ground, water or snow, it is precisely these that the polarized achieves to diminish with that special coating of the lens.
How to distinguish polarized sunglasses?
Polarized sunglasses are distinguished from traditional sunglasses by their lenses. Generally on the inside of the rod they have a “P” or the word “Polarized” inscribed to indicate that they are certified glasses. If these signs are not found, they can be checked manually by placing the glasses in front of a source of light as an LCD monitor and when turning the glasses and looking through one of the lenses we should check that the image of the monitor is dimmed at certain angles of rotation. This is because the lens is polarizing the light from the monitor and allowing it to pass, or not, depending on the angle of polarization.
